More and more influencers are using their influence

The best influencer of this year is again Ella Dvornik.

At yesterday's conference DIABLOG which is focusing on the bloggers, influencers and content creators, the latest results of the survey conducted by Dialog komunikacije in the late October and early November have been presented.




Bloggers and influencers are still mostly women, though the percentage of men has increased by as much as 10% compared to last year. The share of bloggers and influencers under 25 is also growing, which means that an increasing number of young people are entering the industry. Similar to other aspects of business, there is also a trend of centralization present here - as many as 67.4% of bloggers and influencers come from Central Croatia. Although they are increasingly collaborating with brands (as many as 84% ​​of respondents), the majority of bloggers and content creators involved in research are doing commercial collaborations as a part-time job, respectively only 5.8% of them live from their social media presence. More than half of the respondents (55.8%) have permanent jobs, and 51.2% consider their online channel as a job and a hobby. However, they are increasingly thinking of social networks as a business which they will do in the future - almost 80% of them plan to start their own business that would somehow have something to do with their online channel. Of this 80%, as many as 69% are considering launching new services, while 25.4% are considering owning a product line.




Although video content was once again imposed as a top trend among respondents, it is interesting to note that the vast majority of Croatian bloggers and influencers (60.5%) still do not publish video content on their channels. The most popular social media among others is Instagram on which all the responders have the account (100%). This year, TikTok appeared for the first time in the survey, with 12.8% of respondents present on this social media.


From the most prominent categories, the bloggers write about the traveling took the first place this year with a 45.3% survey responders (bloggers) who have a travel blog. The gastro category has grown by as much as 17% and for the first time, the fitness category gained significant representation among responders. Due to that, the best fitness blogger was announced at the conference held yesterday.
