In July, 2017, Booking.com started its first global campaign with influencers called Refer-A-Friend. The campaign is highlighted by the RAF program that allows users of the Booking.com to share booking discounts with each other. The goal of the RAF influencer campaign is to ensure additional promotion and increased number of bookings made on Booking.com platform.

The condition that Booking.com has set for the influencer selection is that the influencer must have at least 15,000 followers on one of their platforms. In addition, each month, Booking.com sets the type of influencer or content that will be created in the coming period such as couples, influencers who share photos of nature, lifestyle influencers, animal influencers, etc.

System of the campaign is that influencers offer the opportunity for 500 followers to use the link and receive a refund of 200 HRK for a minimum expense of 400 HRK.

During the first two years of RAF and Dialog’s collaboration, Dialog had to provide two influencers per month  for the campaign, and due to the excellent results, achieved in the previous collaboration, since February 2019. the Croatian market monthly presents four influencers through the RAF campaign and is starting long term collaborations with influencers from June 2019.

Booking.com RAF campaign 2018, in results:

– we collaborated with 24 influencers

– 113 posts where RAF links were shared

– total reach was 8 522 825

– total engagement was 966 491
