Company A1 Croatia and the Center for Safer Internet have launched a series of activities aimed at protecting children and youth on the internet as part of the sustainable business program Do the Right Thing. This year’s project is an extension of successful cooperation between A1 Croatia and the Center for Safer Internet which began in 2016 when they started conducting training together for various interest groups.

Protection of children and youth on the Internet

Most children today spend time on the Internet every day which, unfortunately also offers content inappropriate for their age, in addition to many educational and entertainment content. Therefore, the experts – psychologists of the Center for Safer Internet have specially designed online educational workshops to help parents to get acquainted with the potential dangers lurking in the online world and ways to protect their children from them.

With the new school year, six terms for free workshops have been opened, to which all parents can apply via link Do the Right Thing.

A novelty in Do the Right Thing program is the project Alphabet of the Internet, designed by actors Ana Vilenica and Tomislav Krstanović. These fun online performances are specifically designed for fifth and sixth-grade elementary school students.

Activities aiming protection of children and youth on the Internet are accompanied by a native campaign on selected online media portals, PR activities, direct communication with decision-makers and partners, communication on social networks, and cooperation with influencers.
