Social media views of this term are growing exponentially and are slowly approaching the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/tag\/TikTokMadeMeBuyIt\">#TikTokMadeMeBuyIt<\/a> trend, that currently has 42 billion views.\u00a0 Below in the text, we will answer to the question of what this trend is about.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800000\"><strong>New face of <em>influencers<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Deinfluencing<\/em> is, in short, <strong><span style=\"color: #800000\">a reaction to the culture of consumerism<\/span><\/strong>, which aims to fight against the constant creation of the need to buy new products and services by <em>influencers<\/em>. That&#8217;s how the <em>deinfluencers<\/em> were born. Instead of promoting brands through positive product reviews or paid ads like &#8220;classic&#8221; <em>influencers<\/em>, <em>deinfluencers<\/em> will tell you which products <span style=\"color: #800000\"><strong>NOT<\/strong><\/span> to buy. The videos focus on popular products that <em>deinfluencers <\/em>think are overpriced. Emphasis is placed on the tendency to buy multiple products for the same purpose. Followers are encouraged not to buy, for example, three different mascaras, but only one. A critical review of products is more authentic than <a href=\"https:\/\/dialog-komunikacije.hr\/en\/the-imperfect-content-era-beginning\/\">the &#8220;polished&#8221; content<\/a> that <em>influencers<\/em> offer every day. That&#8217;s exactly why this trend has become very popular in a very short period of time.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800000\"><strong>Influence trading is eternal<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The common characteristic of <em>influencing<\/em> and <em>deinfluencing<\/em> is that both trends use the power <span style=\"color: #800000\"><strong>to influence<\/strong><\/span> consumers. This is especially visible in cases where <em>deinfluencers <\/em>simultaneously promote cheaper product alternatives. In this aspect, influencing and deinfluencing are actually intertwined, and consumers are under a certain type of influence.
